We started the day at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Chicago for some getting ready photos. From there we headed to The South Garden at The Art Institute of Chicago for the first look and portraits. The weather was HOT, but that didn’t stop Maggie and Garrett, we found shade under the canopy of trees. The garden was beautiful with fresh blooms of flowers and lush green trees.
After that we headed to River Roast for the ceremony and reception. River Roast is a perfect mix of industrial and modern, with its exposed brick paired with the modern updates, it’s definitely one of our favorite venues in Downtown Chicago. The table center pieces included hand painted pieces, each depicting a favorite place or special memory, even one representing The Office , our personal favorite 😉 The cake was the topped with beach chairs to tie in their home in Florida.
